Role Overview: As an Assistant Professor in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at New Horizon College of Engineering, your primary role involves teaching and mentoring students pursuing their undergraduate degree in computer applications. Responsibilities: - Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on topics related to computer applications, programming languages, software development, and database management. - Contribute to the development and updating of the MBA curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and emerging technologies. - Evaluate students" academic performance through assignments, examinations, and projects, providing constructive feedback to foster their growth. - Provide academic counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in their personal and professional development. - Engage in research activities, publish research papers in reputable journals, and participate in conferences to contribute to the academic community. - Establish connections with IT industry professionals, promoting internships and placement opportunities for MBA students. - Pursue continuous professional development, attending workshops and seminars to enhance teaching methodologies and subject knowledge. - Participate in various academic committees, contributing to the governance and advancement of the institution. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: B.com / BBA and M.com / MBA (Specialization in Finance), with MPhil, NET / SLET - Master's degree preferred - Teaching experience of 1 year preferred, total work experience of 1 year preferred As an Assistant Professor at New Horizon College of Engineering, you will be part of a dynamic academic environment that values research, academic excellence, and industry collaboration.
