Assistant Professor - Mathematics

As a Mathematics Professor, your role is to teach and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will employ innovative and learner-centric teaching methods such as project-based learning (PBL), flipped classrooms, problem-solving sessions, and technology-integrated instruction. Additionally, you will guide students in research projects, encourage participation in hackathons and technical competitions, and publish high-quality research in reputed journals while pursuing funded research proposals. Your responsibilities also include designing and delivering engaging lectures, seminars, and lab sessions aligned with academic and industry standards, providing academic guidance, and career mentorship to students. Moreover, you will participate in departmental and institutional activities including committees and administrative tasks. Qualifications required for this role include a Ph.D. in Mathematics or NET/SET qualification, a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks, and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably teaching Mathematics to Engineering students at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Demonstrated engagement in research, publications, or funded projects is also desired.
