As an Assistant Professor in Interior Design based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic landscape of the Interior Design program. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of the program's syllabus and curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive and innovative educational experience for students. You will be actively involved in teaching theory classes, design studios, and workshops, aiming to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Additionally, you will contribute to the setup and management of design labs and material libraries, supporting the practical aspects of the curriculum. Mentorship of students will be a key focus area, where you will guide them on academic projects, research endeavors, and collaborations with industry partners. Your participation in the admissions process, including counseling prospective students and conducting entrance assessments, will be crucial in selecting candidates who align with the program's objectives. Engagement in research activities, design competitions, and publications within the field of Interior Design will be encouraged.
