Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor – Food and Beverage Services with a strong hotel industry background. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic excellence in the Food and Beverage Services specialization.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality
• Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality
• Specialization in Food and Beverage Services is mandatory

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in hotels (Food & Beverage Operations)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed hotel management institute or university
• Must be from a hotel industry background

Age Criteria:

• Preferred age group: 27 to 29 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and practical training in Food and Beverage Services
• Plan and develop course content, lesson plans, and assessment methods
• Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, and industry-oriented training
• Guide and mentor students for academic and professional development
• Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
• Maintain academic records and evaluate student performance
• Support departmental activities, seminars, and workshops
• Stay updated with current industry trends and practices

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and service standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Practical exposure to hotel F&B operations
• Student-centric teaching approach
• Ability to balance academic and industry-oriented teaching
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with hands-on hotel experience are highly preferred
• Passion for teaching and mentoring hospitality students
