FACULTY RECRUITMENT: DEPARTMENT OF CSE Position: Assistant Professor (Specialization in Cyber Security)

SR Group of Institutions, a premier center for excellence in technical education in Bundelkhand, invites applications from dynamic, research-oriented, and qualified professionals for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

1. Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.E. / M.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology.
• Specialization Required: Cyber Security, Information Security, Network Security, or a closely related domain.
• Academic Performance: First Class (minimum 60% or 6.75 CGPA) at both B.Tech and M.Tech levels.
• Experience: While experience in academia or the security industry is preferred, fresh M.Tech post-graduates with strong technical projects in Cyber Security are encouraged to apply.

2. Role & Responsibilities

• Teaching: Deliver lectures on core CSE subjects and specialized courses like Cryptography, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, and Cyber Laws.
• Practical Training: Supervise the Cyber Security Lab, guiding students through penetration testing, packet analysis, and security auditing.
• Project Mentorship: Act as a guide for B.Tech/M.Tech final year projects focusing on contemporary security challenges (e.g., AI in Security, Blockchain, Cloud Defense).
• Institutional Support: Contribute to departmental administrative tasks, including NBA/NAAC accreditation documentation and organizing technical fests/workshops.

3. Technical Skills Desired

• Hands-on experience with tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
• Knowledge of security scripting using Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and network defense mechanisms (Firewalls, IDS/IPS).
