Role Overview:
The role involves teaching and mentoring students in CSE with a focus on IoT, AI/ML, software development, and UI/UX through lectures, labs, and project guidance. It requires designing and updating industry-aligned curriculum, integrating real-world case studies, and adopting innovative
pedagogy. The faculty will drive applied research, live projects, and innovation by collaborating with industry and startups. They will actively contribute to academic and institutional development through quality initiatives, committees, and student-focused learning practices. The position demands strong technical expertise, research orientation, and the ability to inspire and mentor future-ready professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Mentorship
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in CSE with emphasis on IoT, Software Development, UI/UX, and AI & ML applications.
- Conduct lab sessions, workshops, and hands-on training to strengthen practical knowledge.
- Mentor students in academic projects, internships, and skill-development activities.
Curriculum & Pedagogy
- Design and update curriculum integrating IoT, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Introduce industry case studies, real-world problems, and project-based learning methods.
- Develop digital teaching materials, e-learning modules, and blended pedagogy approaches.
Research, Projects & Innovation
- Engage in applied research and innovation with focus on IoT, AI-driven applications, and software systems.
- Encourage student participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, and publications.
- Collaborate with industry/startups for live projects, consultancy, and incubation activities.
Industry & Academic Collaboration
- Build partnerships with industries for training, certifications, and collaborative projects.
- Organize guest lectures, expert talks, and bootcamps on IoT, AI, and UI/UX design.
- Contribute to institutional initiatives such as innovation cells, incubation centers, and skill development hubs.
Academic Contribution
- Support departmental activities including accreditations, reviews, and quality assurance.
- Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional development.
- Maintain a student-focused, innovative, and inclusive teaching-learning environment.
Qualifications Required:
- M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or equivalent discipline.
- Strong academic foundation in one or more areas:
- Software Development (Full Stack / Application Development)
- User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX)
- Industry or academic project experience in IoT/Software/UI-UX integrated with AI & ML.
Preferred Experience:
- Publications, project guidance, or product development in related domains.
- Professional certifications in relevant tools & technologies (Cloud, AI, UI/UX, IoT platforms).
Key Skills:
- Programming skills (Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, or equivalent).
- IoT platforms and hardware (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, edge computing).
- Front-end & back-end development frameworks.
- AI & ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- UI/UX prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Strong mentoring, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive innovation, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary projects.
