Assistant Plant Quality Manager

Location- Jaisalmer, RJ/ Anantapur, AP

Educational Qualifications:

• Required:

  B.E. in Mechanical / Chemical / Polymer / Plastics / Production / Industrial

Experience:

• Relevant Experience:

  7 to 10 years in Quality Management Systems in manufacturing setups

• Preferred Industries:

  Polymer, Wind Energy

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

Ensure QMS Implementation

• Develop and maintain QMS aligned with ISO and internal standards
• Lead internal audit programs and ensure timely closure of non-conformities
• Review and update procedures, manuals, and policies for compliance
• Supervise raw material testing and equipment calibration activities

Run Quality Assurance Program

• Lead Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs)
• Develop and enhance Quality Control Plans, PFDs, and FMEAs
• Drive process control and excellence initiatives
• Conduct non-conformance analysis and deploy CAPA
• Lead skill development and training programs
• Ensure timely MIS and dashboard reporting

Provide Inputs to Design Team

• Evaluate process gaps and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with design team for process and documentation enhancements
• Implement design changes as required

Manage Third-Party Interactions

• Coordinate with third-party inspectors (GL, DNV, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with customer contracts and inspection standards

Ensure Customer Satisfaction

• Control and reduce customer returns and complaints
• Analyze issues and implement corrective actions
• Conduct process audits and mistake-proofing
• Maintain strong customer relationships

Technical Skills

• Quality Management Systems (QMS):

  ISO standards, internal audits, documentation control

• Process Improvement Tools:

  Six Sigma, FMEA, TQM, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA

• Quality Assurance & Control:

  PFD, Control Plans, RPN reduction, mistake proofing

• Testing & Validation:

  Raw material testing, equipment calibration, AMC management

• Design Interaction:

  Understanding of design documentation and change implementation

• Customer Quality Management:

  Complaint analysis, customer returns, satisfaction metrics

• MIS & Reporting:

  Dashboard creation, data analysis, reporting accuracy
