We are expanding our Business Development team and seeking dynamic professionals passionate about accelerating India’s clean energy transition.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager / Sr. Executive – Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the renewable energy segment. The role requires strong industry knowledge, proven experience in renewable energy, and the ability to manage end-to-end BD activities for solar/wind/hybrid EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar EPC, wind-solar hybrid, ground-mounted, rooftop, and related renewable energy solutions.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and industry platforms.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and project acquisition targets.
  • Prepare and present technical–commercial proposals, project feasibility studies, and customer presentations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, industries, developers, government bodies, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide customized energy solutions.

Project Coordination & Commercials

  • Coordinate with engineering, design, supply chain, and execution teams for proposal preparation.
  • Support tendering activities: bid submission, documentation, compliance checks, and pricing assistance.
  • Track RfQs, RfPs, tenders, government policies, and regulatory updates.

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct competitive analysis, market trends research, and regulatory monitoring in renewable energy.
  • Identify emerging opportunities such as green hydrogen, battery storage, carbon credits, and open-access renewable models.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain sales pipeline, client database, and weekly/monthly BD reports.
  • Provide management with insights on business performance and new growth areas.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable preferable) or
  • MBA in Marketing / Energy Management (preferred).

Experience (Mandatory)

  • 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Renewable Energy sector
  • (Solar EPC, Rooftop, Ground Mounted, Wind/Solar Hybrid, or related green energy business).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, EPC sales, policies & subsidies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple opportunities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business reporting.
