Job Description

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all quality-related matters.
Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement effective corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor and analyze customer feedback, warranty claims, and field issues to identify trends and drive continuous improvements.
Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality standards, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or other applicable certifications.
Conduct customer audits, support customer visits, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve customer quality issues.
Track and report customer quality metrics (PPM, NCRs, Scorecards, etc.).
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance trust and satisfaction.
Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce rejections, scrap, and warranty costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Engineering / Quality Management or equivalent.
5–8 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in automotive / manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of quality tools: 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Hands-on experience with customer portals and quality systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage customer expectations effectively.
