Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Weld Shop in India. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the welding operations, ensuring high-quality standards, and managing a team of welders.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations of the weld shop
Supervise welding activities and ensure quality control
Train and mentor junior welders and staff
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
Maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment
Collaborate with production teams to meet project deadlines
Monitor and report on welding performance and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in a welding or fabrication environment
Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with welding equipment and tools
