Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales (Wastewater UV Treatment Line)

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Business Head

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Salary - Depends on Interview

Face to Face Interview

Job Purpose:

To drive sales of UV-based wastewater treatment products and components by generating and converting firm enquiries into successful orders, while achieving defined sales targets and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the water & wastewater treatment industry.

* Promote and sell UV treatment products, components, and equipment to existing and potential customers.

* Generate and convert firm enquiries into orders to achieve assigned sales targets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-users.

* Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to customers.

* Coordinate with internal teams (technical, production, service) to ensure smooth execution of orders.

* Track competitor activities and market trends to provide inputs for business strategy.

* Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policy.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Diploma / B.E. in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.

* 8-9 years of relevant experience in sales within the water & wastewater treatment industry.

* Prior experience in selling water & wastewater treatment products/components/equipment is essential.

* MSc Environmental Science, Diploma / BE Chemical / Environmental Engg

Key Skills & Competencies:

* Strong technical knowledge of water & wastewater treatment processes (preferably UV disinfection).

* Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong customer orientation with a problem-solving approach.

Knowledge Required:

a. Should have worked in water & wastewater treatment industry at least for 2-3 year

b. Should have a relevant experience of selling a product or water treatment components /

equipments.

c. Good at understanding the client requirement and proposal making.

d. Willing to travel.

e. Should be able to generate and convert firm enquiries to meet the sales target

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
