Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager, your role will involve leading and driving the sales of agricultural produce. Your strong background in sales and agribusiness management, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, will be key in achieving success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement target-driven sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve revenue goals. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. - Promote and educate clients about the unique benefits and features of agricultural products to enhance brand awareness and sales. - Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for business growth. - Collaborate with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth sales operations. - Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management. - Be willing to travel to meet clients, explore new markets, and support business expansion. Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or agribusiness sector. - MBA in Marketing & Sales, Agri-Business Management, and/or a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, or related fields. - Strong understanding of agricultural products and market dynamics. - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated, target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
