Assistant Manager - Sales & BD

As a specialized Refractory Solutions provider for High Temperature Industries, we’re growing and need talented people to help us continue to provide innovative and responsible solutions to High Temperature Industries in West India (Gujarat & Rajasthan).

APPL, a Refractory Solutions company, seeks a Sales Representative to join us to develop our business in West India. You’ll be responsible for adding new customers, preparing quotation and following up for orders in West India. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by providing assured solutions that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell our strong products and solutions to customers.

What You Will Do:

• Represent APPL at customer meetings and exhibitions in West India
• Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals.
• Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation products & services that will maintain and grow sales
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels

Territory/Location Information:

• This position is working from home, with base location in Ahmedabad or adjoining location
• Territory covers Ahmedabad, Damand & Diu, Rajasthan

· Training programs are held on the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-8 years of sales or field sales support experience
• Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Ceramics, chemical, mechanical or industrial
• Iron & Steel, Cement, Oil & Gas experience is a plus
• Willing to travel to customer sites in West India
• Good communication skill in Hindi, English is a must & Gujarati (is a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
