Assistant Quality Manager

1. Support in Quality Documentation & Standards

• Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining:

• Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs)

• Field Quality Plan (FQP)

• Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  for electrical and civil works

• Checklists

  for various construction activities
• Ensure documents are aligned with IS codes, project specs, and company standards.

2. Data Collection & Reporting

• Gather quality data, inspection records, and test reports from various sites.
• Analyse trends in:
• Non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Material test results
• Site quality issues
• Help prepare

  monthly MIS reports

  , and

  compliance summaries

3. Coordination with Site QA/QC Teams

• Communicate with site quality engineers to:
• Resolve civil/electrical quality issues
• Follow up on NCR closures and corrective actions
• Share updated checklists, SOPs, or drawing revisions

4. Vendor & Material Quality Support

• Maintain databases for:

• Approved vendors

  for civil materials and construction

• Material test certificates

  and compliance records
• Support technical evaluation of vendor-supplied civil components (e.g., precast, RCC, building materials).

5. Internal Audit & Compliance

• Support internal audit by:
• Providing necessary quality documents
• Helping in audit planning and tracking of corrective actions
• Learn and apply

  ISO 9001

  or similar standards used in EPC quality management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil OR Electrical Engineering with good academic records

Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal, coordination skills, learning attitude and Good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and vendor locations on short notice and as required
• Problem-solving mindset with integrity and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, IS codes, and solar plant structure
• Good in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing
