Position : Assistant Manager-Production planning & Inventory control.

Location : Vatva, Ahmadabad

Experience : 2 to 7 Years

Education: Bachelors degree in Food Technology / Process engineering / Production engineering

  • Preparing container reports on receipt of New orders.
  • Preparing daily production schedule/plans and execution.
  • Blending, Grinding, Milling execution as per planning & collecting reports from Supervisors.
  • Coordinating with other departments for sales, procurement, operations for smooth workflow.
  • Analysing daily production & packing data & generating reports.
  • Recording & reporting production & packing losses.
  • Purchase requisition for raw materials according to container plans.
  • Purchase requisition for packing materials according to container plans.
  • Inventory level verification.
  • Maintaining minimum stock levels of RM/PM.
  • Dispatch planning for containers.
  • Followups for receipt of RM/PM.
  • Preparing and submitting daily production reports.
  • Knowledge of sampling required for export items as per the importing country governing body.
  • Maintaining compliances in the production sections.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Production manager, who has worked in Production planning and Inventory management. The candidate will be responsible for providing production plans, dispatch plans in advance along with maintaining inventory levels. He will be responsible for purchase requistions of RM/PM for receipt of them on time according to Plans. He will be recording and reporting daily production activities to management and also coordinating with team for compliances and quality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of norms & regulations for the importing countries.
  • Knowledge of requirements for exporting food items as per the importing country specific laws.
  • Knowledge of food regulations and standards.
  • Flexible timings.
  • Knowledge of sampling for specific products to be examined as per the laws of importing country.
  • Strong knowledge of calculating optimum outputs and costing of production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Food Technology / Process engineering / Production engineering or proven experience in relevant industry.
  • Proven experience in Production department including costing and manpower management.
  • 2-5 years of experience in food technology.
