Assistant Manager -Production

Responsible for manufacturing products with good quality and on time delivery. Responsibilties •Look after tiles & panels department.
• Checking of technical part list received from project team. • Load chart preparation upon receiving tpl on daily basis. • Rescheduling load chart weekly twice based on customer dod. • Load chart preparation for fos-3 chennai, weekly twice. • Load chart preparation for job work vendor (zigma) • Resolving tpl mistakes/issues if found by coordinating with back office. • Work allotment to two departments- upholstry,frame assembly ,and packing. • Coordinating with planning department for projects that has to be outsourced. • Snags and mock ups mrs preparation for fabric. • Daily production activites are cordinated with supervisors. • Packing activities of tiles and panels are taken care of the achieve the targets. • vendor allocation based on load chart • Visiting vendors to monitor the status of the outsourced project(screens)and its quality. • Follow ups and coordination with job work vendors to determine if they have received the required raw material to complete the project. • Coordinating with stores department to check stock availability of import fabrics before production planing. • Implementation of 5s and kaizen activities. • Preparation of production report of union workers. • Actual v/s target report generation. • Daily and monthly production report. • Maintain ISO documentation up to date. • Preparation of cbm details for export order. • Achieving target for pod and screen production /assembly. • Production planning based on transfer date • Manpower planning. • Monitoring production details on daily basis • Communicating & co ordinating with other departments • Communicate with installation team and any issues clear on time.
