Assistant Manager - Procurement

Role & responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and procure industrial materials.

Manage RFQs, analyze quotes, and negotiate pricing & delivery terms.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Monitor market trends for cost optimization.

Ensure compliance with procurement and regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (SAP, SERP).

We are hiring a results-driven Procurement Professional to lead sourcing and purchasing of industrial hardware, PPE safety items, tools/tackles, chemicals, and lubricants. This role demands exceptional vendor management, negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver cost-effective, timely, and quality-compliant procurement while adhering to company policies and HSE standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Bachelors in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 68 years in industrial procurement

Expertise: Hardware consumables, PPE, chemicals, lubricants

Skills: MS Office, ERP systems, negotiation, vendor management

Knowledge: Procurement regulations & HSE standards
