Job Title: Assistant Manager - PPC (Sheet Metal)

Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager - PPC (Sheet Metal Division) will be responsible for Production Planning & Control of sheet metal fabrication projects supporting manufacturing requirements. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination to ensure timely execution of production schedules and on-time customer delivery with optimized utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage the
Master Production Schedule (MPS)
based on customer orders, forecasts, and project priorities.
Coordinate with
Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production
teams to ensure alignment of production plans with customer requirements.
Lead and manage
Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
process to ensure timely availability of materials, consumables, and bought-out parts.
Plan capacity based on load balancing techniques, available machine hours, and manpower optimization.
Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to
delivery timelines, quality standards, and manufacturing targets.
Maintain accurate and updated reporting on
MIS, production dashboards, WIP status, lead time, TAT analysis, and variance report tracking.
Conduct
root cause analysis
for delays, capacity bottlenecks, and planning deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support implementation of ERP based production planning modules and digital systems for improved traceability and visibility.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
5-8 years of experience
in PPC, ideally in Sheet Metal / Precision Manufacturing sectors.
