Assistant Manager - MEP

Purpose/Objective

The Executive - MEP is responsible for supporting the execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works at the site level. This role involves assisting in inspections, documentation, and coordination with contractors to ensure MEP activities are carried out efficiently and according to the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Executive MEP Site Execution & Support: Assist in monitoring day-to-day MEP activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Verify materials, check installations, and report any discrepancies or issues to the Incharge - MEP. Support in resolving minor technical challenges related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical works. Review and comment on contractor shop drawings and compare them with design specifications. Conduct preliminary quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Assist in testing and commissioning of MEP systems under the guidance of senior team members. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of material usage, work progress, and inspection reports. Support in preparing checklists, method statements, and as-built documentation. Review contractor’s operation and maintenance manuals and provide initial feedback. Provide daily and weekly reports on MEP execution progress to the Incharge - MEP. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of tasks. Support in resolving site coordination issues by collaborating with project teams. Attend project meetings as required and provide updates on assigned tasks. Assist in arranging manpower and materials to meet project deadlines. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Work Experience (Range of years): Work Experience(Range of years): 4-6 Years Preferred Industry: Experience in MEP execution within real estate or infrastructure projects. Basic knowledge of MEP systems, installation techniques, and safety standards.
