Assistant Manager / Manager - Maintenance (Regional)

Job Summary

The Regional Maintenance Manager will lead the regional engineering team and ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted operations of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure across central kitchens, warehouses, and retail outlets. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction, vendor management, safety compliance, and cost optimization in line with organizational SOPs and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement maintenance processes, systems, and SOPs across locations
  
• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and engineers
  
• Plan maintenance strategy including

  in-house vs outsourced

  activities
• Ensure

  minimum equipment breakdowns

  through robust preventive maintenance
• Monitor and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules
  
• Supervise HVAC, utilities, refrigeration, steam, electrical, and water systems
  
• Ensure compliance with

  safety practices, PPE usage, and health regulations

• Maintain maintenance documentation for audits and statutory inspections
  
• Support QHSE and liaison teams during internal and external audits
  
• Monitor CMMS tickets, closures, and pending activities
  
• Analyze breakdown trends, utilities consumption, PM records, and AMC data
  
• Plan and initiate

  CAPEX proposals

  for equipment, facilities, safety, and energy conservation
• Support planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
  
• Manage new outlet handovers as per defined processes
  
• Ensure compliance with

  FSSAI, ETP norms, Legal Metrology, and statutory standards

• Provide engineering support for modifications and new product requirements
  
• Drive

  OPEX reduction

  through spare optimization, vendor development, and energy savings
• Ensure optimized inventory and availability of critical spares
  
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and project activities
  
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in all engineering and utility areas
