Maintenance Engineer (Production)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support production operations in our Tractor Attachment Manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on maintenance exposure, including sheet metal and fabrication work, and prior experience as a Technician, enabling in-depth root-level understanding of machinery, tooling, and shop-floor challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted operation of production machines and fabrication equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provide immediate technical support to production, sheet metal, and fabrication lines.
• Handle sheet metal machinery such as press brakes, shearing, bending, and related tools.
• Hands-on involvement in fabrication activities including welding, cutting, grinding, and alignment.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve machine uptime, OEE, and productivity.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules in line with TPM practices.
• Coordinate with production teams during breakdowns and emergency situations.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and spares inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and statutory requirements.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal & Fabrication Maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings.
• Experience in welding and fabrication tools (MIG / Arc preferred).
• Exposure to machine alignment, jig & fixture maintenance.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with TPM, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.

Experience & Background

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory: At least 2 years of technician-level, hands-on experience.
• Prior experience in

  EOT cranes, gantry cranes,Laser, Hydraulic press brake, shearing machines, Drilling machines, LCS crane Maintenance work experience

  preferred.
