Assistant Manager - Maintenance & Reliability

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager - Reliability & Maintenance at Bunge in Kandla, Gujarat, India, you will be responsible for attending to day-to-day preventive, planned, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance tasks. Your role will involve translating the organization's business goals into appropriate maintenance, reliability, and life cycle cost goals to support the business results. You will create tactical and strategic plans for achieving the mission and ensure effective utilization of information technologies to enhance maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities: - Translate the organization's business goals into maintenance, reliability, and life cycle cost goals - Create tactical and strategic plans for achieving the mission - Prepare and present business cases for plan implementation - Develop and control the maintenance budget for optimized spending - Monitor and control plant energy KPIs and ensure utility equipment uptime - Identify opportunities for energy conservation, process optimization, and asset optimization - Implement a structured process for performing maintenance work - Foster a culture that does not tolerate equipment failures and seeks to eliminate the root causes - Ensure equipment maintenance plans are created and implemented to support required levels of reliability Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - 4-8 years of relevant experience - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to lead a team and make informed decisions - Knowledge of pumps, couplings, seals, gearboxes, separators, heating and cooling systems - Familiarity with product and process knowledge in project management - Analytical skills, SAP, and MS Office proficiency Additional Company Details: Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a global leader in sourcing, processing, and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
