Assistant Manager-Investment Accounting-Investment Operations

Your role will involve preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries. You will be responsible for reviewing data and input from various sources to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will prepare and review Income Statement and Balance Sheet reconciliations, conducting tie-outs, variance analysis, and aging analysis. You will assist in oversight and review processes before final sign-off and collaborate during internal and external audits. Ensuring timely and accurate processing as per business requirements is crucial, and you will act as a point of escalation for any operational issues within assigned Business Units. Qualifications Required: - Qualified/Semi-qualified accountant/Masters in Finance with 6+ years of experience in Accounting and Reporting - Knowledge and expertise in the insurance industry - Good understanding of GAAP & STAT rules governing the business - Expertise in Bank and cash reconciliation Desired Skill Sets: - Hands-on experience working with Oracle and MS Office - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with stakeholders - Strong comprehension skills to interpret business documents Note: The job also requires expertise in Bank and cash reconciliation.,
