Assistant Manager - Hose Tube Assembly

Job Description

Role Overview: Responsible for managing and improving production operations for fluid transfer systems, fittings, quick couplings, and tubing assemblies. Ensures quality, cost efficiency, delivery, and safety while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement production strategies aligned with corporate goals. Oversee material flow, inventory control, and supply planning to optimize productivity. Drive lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and process improvements. Monitor customer commitments, supplier performance (RPPM & OTD), and key manufacturing metrics. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety protocols, and lean principles. Conduct technical training, operational coaching, and employee development. Analyze and reduce Days of Sales Inventory (DSI) and non-moving inventory. Lead projects focused on productivity improvement, waste reduction, and first-pass yield (FPY). Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. 8-10 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and process optimization skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, lean manufacturing, and supply chain planning. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
