Assistant Manager- Finance

We are seeking an Assistant Manager Finance who will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, audits, and stakeholder management across international markets. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in accounting and finance, combined with excellent English communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders outside India, including our Swedish finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, IFRS, GAAP, and relevant accounting standards.
• Conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits across industries, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Manage direct and indirect tax compliances including income tax returns, GST filings, TDS, and tax assessments.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly, yearly financial statements and variance reports; handle closure entries.
• Liaise with clients, banks, statutory authorities, and internal teams to resolve financial and regulatory matters.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and audit procedures.
• Oversee and approve internal payments.
• Collaborate with the Swedish finance team to align accounting structures, processes, and reporting standards.
• Support reconciliation and transition between Indian GAAP and IFRS/Swedish accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English written and verbal, with ability to interact confidently with global stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards: Indian GAAP, IFRS, with exposure to Swedish/European accounting practices preferred.
• Hands-on experience with financial tools: Odoo, SAP, Tally, MS Excel, Power BI (or similar).

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
