Job Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review and authorize high-value journal entries and ledger adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal control requirements.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) preparation processes.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting (monthly, quarterly).
• Coordinate between team members and client office to resolve finance-related issues.
• Oversee agent, inter-branch, and bank reconciliations to ensure no outstanding variances.
• Review staff advances, loans, and account clearing processes.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of supporting schedules (FA, prepaid, accruals, provisions).
• Support timely submission of regulatory reporting.
• Support and lead external audits, RIA audits, and internal audit closure.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management.
• Lead and coach junior finance associates and drive a culture of performance and accountability.
• Identify areas for automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CA, CA Inter, ICWAI, MBA Finance) preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong ERP and financial software expertise.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
