Job Description

An Assistant Manager for Ex-India travel will be responsible for managing and coordinating travel arrangements for clients traveling outside of India, providing expert travel advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will also assist with sales, manage bookings, and handle any travel-related issues that arise. Additionally, they will support the manager in staff training, performance evaluations, and implementing strategies to improve client satisfaction and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Planning & Coordination:Manage and coordinate all aspects of international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, for clients traveling outside of India.
  • Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales & Promotion:Contribute to sales goals by promoting travel packages, services, and destinations.
  • Booking Management:Handle all bookings, including flights, hotels, and other travel-related services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Staff Support:Assist the manager with staff training, performance evaluations, and implementing strategies to improve team performance.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain and update client travel records, preferences, and booking information.
  • Problem Solving:Handle client issues, emergencies, and complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Compliance:Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Financial Management:Assist with budget management, expense tracking, and financial reporting, if required.
  • Market Research:Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and competitor activities to provide informed advice and develop new strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Travel Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and other travel-related services.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Sales & Marketing: Ability to promote travel packages and services and contribute to sales targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for travel bookings, CRM, and communication.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the travel industry, preferably in a similar role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
