Assistant Manager -Engineering Utilities

As a Utility Maintenance Engineer, your role involves providing uninterrupted utilities to the plant, ensuring the plant machinery is in good running condition with minimum breakdowns and optimal maintenance costs. You will need to track VMOH (Power, Fuel, and Water) on a daily basis and ensure zero outage against AOP while complying with KCs of Utility. Key Responsibilities: - Implement the maintenance system designed by the engineering manager to minimize downtime and maintenance costs - Ensure 100% uptime for plant utilities - Maintain optimal inventory in the engineering stores by issuing timely indents - Substitute defective spare parts with indigenously developed ones for cost optimization - Assist in phasing out obsolete machinery and planning for new technology - Participate in SGA activities to understand plant systems - Support the implementation of an adaptive culture in the plant - Maintain minimum stock levels of LPG and HSD in the Plant - Support Engineering Manager in Asset Verification Activity - Ensure Equipment, People, and Food Safety in utility area as per Pepsico Guidelines People: - Coach and develop the team of electricians and fitters - Communicate a quality and hygiene focused culture in the plant - Build TPM Culture in Utility - Implement action plans and resolve problems - Foster service orientation in the department - Actively participate in team meetings to analyze concerns and develop action plans In terms of qualifications, you should have: - Education: B. Tech. in Electrical (Preferably)/ Electronics/ Electronics and Instrumentation - Functional Experience: Approximately 3-8 years of handling Utilities - Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and local language preferred - Good communication skills with a focus on driving results The scope of the role includes: - Production volume of Channo plant at 50000 MT/annum - More than 20 OEM and Customer clients - One site with 8 production lines - Exposure in handling Boilers, ETP, Compressed Air system, Nitrogen plant, HT/LT systems, Captive Power generation Furthermore, you are expected to contribute towards the effectiveness of your department, continuously learn, upgrade your abilities, seek feedback, reflect on competencies, set learning goals, and monitor their implementation while updating knowledge from the external environment.,
