Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develops CAD designs (3D & 2D) based on internal and customer input/requirements by following internal guidelines/best practices. Create, revise and develop components / assemblies Communicating or overcoming technical issues with innovative and cost-effective solutions Introduce Cost effective, new technology and Value Added & effective solutions. Support RFQ process with minimal supervision for below list activities Prepare or delegate the Work BOM Preparation / Review CAD updates in appropriate Software Highly Competence in executing Engineering calculations for specific product / functions. and develop new techniques for kinematic studies using product standards Lead IATF, customer audit activities Preferred candidate profile Possesses expert skills in CAD techniques (e.g. surfacing, solid modelling, assembly management/manipulation, rendering, drafting, parametric, kinematics, etc.). Expert Product Knowledge on DFMEA Consults & collaborates with personnel on various Engineering and Design activities related to product development process. Works with Analysts to provide data necessary for CAE studies, and optimizes designs based on results Generate and develop potential ideas for new products/patents/cost savings. In depth knowledge on Material, Product specific technical Information, DFA & DFM and other best practices.
