Job Description

Purpose of the role in 1-2 sentences

This role is responsible to Lead the end-to-end design process for projects, from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders for design-related matters.
Review, vet, and approve consultant design packages for completeness, compliance, and coordination with project requirements.
Organize and lead design coordination workshops to proactively identify and resolve cross-disciplinary clashes and integration issues.
Facilitate Design Review Meetings at Schematic, Design Development, and Construction stages, ensuring timely closure of comments and package finalization.

General Responsibilities

Evaluate specifications, and construction documents for feasibility, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and manage design schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design milestones.
Support risk management by identifying potential design issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
Conduct site visits as required to verify design implementation and resolve design-related construction challenges.

About You:

Bachelors degree in architecture.
10+ years of experience in design management for large-scale or mixed-use projects, ideally within a PMC or consulting environment.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination, construction documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in design software, digital planning tools, and MIS systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
