Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Vehicle Integration

1. Responsible for Concept Design of different aggregates of Compact Products/ a Construction Equipment machine, Selection of components, Product Improvements, resolve field issues, adding features, and Material BOM Cost reduction through VA/VE initiatives.
2. Concept work and Design of various components and Sub-Assembly/ Assembly of Automobiles/ Construction Equipment machines.
3. Design Detailing, BOM compilation and Engineering Drawing release through Engineering Change Management process.
4. Coordinate with Test and Development, Purchasing and Quality Assurance and Production departments for development at various stages of Projects as required till the implementation.
5. Maintaining Quality and standards during daily work.
6. Achieve deliverables as per given Timeline.

PROFILE

1. Experience in product design and development

2. Must be a skilled user of CAD software, preferably UG NX and PLM, and a have experience

3. Should have good understanding of principle of machine design and able to perform basic design calculations independently

4. Hands on Experience working on designing Fabrications, Sheetmetal and Plastic Components.

5. Good understanding of various manufacturing process and aware of design principles for Manufacturing (DFM), Assembly (DFA) and Service (DFS)

6. Experience of handling complete New-Product-Design cycle: Benchmarking generate business case - project budgeting – resource planning - prototype development - vendor development – Process documentation- release to production teams.

7. A focused professional working towards achieving company goals and growth agenda.

8. Concept development for new parts, detailing of the reviewed and approved concepts.

9. Should the principles of vehicle design : Top-Down or Bottom-Up.

10. Basic understanding of GD&T .

11. Able to understand and infer out the norms.

12. Various Industry and International standards.

13. Added advantage if there any experience working with machine / vehicle homologation team.

14. Strong knowledge of machining, metalworking principles, and assembly procedures to evaluate newly designed or modified products.

15. Responsible for the Preparation of Proto build Request, Product Test Request & Engineering Analysis Request.

16. Responsible for ensuring design is feasible for manufacturing, assembly and as well as end user by physical development of level-1 proto, field testing and resolving build issues.
