Job Description

.Dear Candidate Are you passionate about technical documentation and looking to contribute to a global brand in the construction equipment domain? We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Author/Writer to be part of a dynamic, diverse team. Key Responsibilities: Develop & update Service Manuals , Operator Manuals , Maintenance & Repair Manuals , and Service Bulletins . Work with Hydraulic & Electrical Schematics , SOPs , and standard maintenance practices. Collaborate with global teams (IDC & UK) of technical writers and illustrators. Manage content lifecycle using Content Management Systems (CMS) ensuring content reuse and process adherence. Partner with the Worldwide Service Team to deliver best-in-class technical literature . Drive timely and quality deliverables across service authoring projects. Profile Requirements: Proven experience in technical writing for service/operator manuals. Prior field service experience and ability to interpret engineering drawings , EPI/ECN. Exposure to project management within documentation teams. Preferred Skillset: Proficiency in tools like Oxygen XML Editor , Adobe FrameMaker , Photoshop , Illustrator . Familiarity with STE (Simplified Technical English) and company-specific style guides. Hands-on with PLM, UGNX , and Teamcenter Visualization . Comfortable working in multi-project , cross-functional environments.
