Job Description

Position:- Assistant Manager-Customer Solution Engineer

Location- Gurgaon

Experience:- 8+ years

Note:- Candidates should have Elevators/ Escalators Sales experience, who understand the Technicality of Elevators/ Escalators.

Purpose:

As a CSE, you will provide technical solutions & Support for New Building Solutions.

You will take ownership of successful tendering and knowledge transfer on the dedicated geographic area. For FL sales you will act as a primary point of contact for technical support and resources beyond. You will work closely with FL Sales. You will manage the tendering process ensuring required value engineering and optimized pricing are delivered promptly and quickly.

You will be reading the customer specification together with the FL sales, translating it into the core specification, clarifying building interfaces (mechanical and electrical), identifying and coordinating engineering tasks with E&S nominated contact to deliver the full tender package to FL including e.g. layout, visual drawings, optimized sourcing & pricing. You will need to be the center of excellence in technical solutions.

We expect you to have:

  • Minimum 8 year of experience in Elevator & Escalator field.
  • Deep knowledge of elevator products, components, installation, business challenges and sales environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Elevator and Escalator products and required code regulations.
  • Strong organizing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in MS office ( excel & PPT) is required.
  • Drive for results and persistence with a can-do attitude.
  • Collaborative approach and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and leadership skills.
  • Fluent communication skills in English. Other languages are an asset.

Responsibilities & Key activities:

  • Work closely with customer specifications are understood (and challenged, if needed) and the right products are offered.
  • Study customer Tender Documents and prepare Import offering .
  • Understanding the traffic challenges in buildings and being able to optimize our solutions to overcome said challenges.
  • Help Sales in arranging the technical documents for the tender submission.
  • Ensure that the proposed solution fulfils the codes, regulations and safety requirements.
  • Shall take responsible for the correctness of order in line with the offer to the customer.
  • Coordinate with SL team to get correct drawings.
  • Coordinate with SL for GAD, Order during post-order management.
  • Coordinate with PM & FL sales during GAD Submission and Order to SL.
  • Responsible for Releasing Manufacturing instruction (NRP) to SL as per process.
  • Coordinate for documentation at the time of shipment with SL.
  • Booking Order in SAP as per process.
  • Keeping track of Order and Deliverables during post-order management.
  • Follow-up with SL for the Deliverables like Drawings, Samples and Materials.
  • Coordination with Logistics team for material deliveries.
