Job Title: L2 Network Specialist - Routing,
Switching, and FirewallsExperience: Minimum 4 years (including 2 years ofrelevant experience with R&S and Firewall)Location: [Pune]Job Description: We are looking for anexperienced L2 Network Specialist with strong expertisein Cisco routers and switches and firewall implementationand configuration. Handson on Fortinet firewalls and Fortimanager.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing large-scalenetworks, along with hands-on experience working with wireless controllers.Key Responsibilities:Design,implement, and manage large-scale network infrastructures involving Ciscorouters and switchesand FirewallsPerformconfiguration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routing and switchingprotocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, etc.).Deployand maintain Fortinet firewalls to secure networkoperations and enforce robust security policies.Provideadvanced L2 support for network issues, ensuring minimal downtime andoptimal performance.Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to integrate network and security solutionsinto the existing infrastructure.Developand document network designs, configurations, and best practices foroperations and security.Conductperiodic audits of network configurations and recommend enhancements toimprove performance and reliability.Monitornetwork performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions foroptimization.Backup and Patch managementStaycurrent with industry trends, tools, and technologies in networking andsecurity.

Requirements:
Minimum8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years ofrelevant experience working with Routing/Switching & FortigateFirewall.Hands-onexperience with Cisco routers, Firewall and switches implementation,configuration, and troubleshooting.Strongknowledge of routing and switching protocols, network design,and optimization.Proficiencyin managing Fortinet firewalls, including policy configurationand troubleshooting.Experienceworking with large network infrastructures in enterprise environments.Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills to address complex networkchallenges.Industrycertifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE 3 or higher,or equivalent are highly desirable.Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.

Experiencewith network security integration, including firewall and access controlconfigurations.
