Assistant Manager - Assurance

As a member of BDO India LLP, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic, operational, accounting, tax, and regulatory advisory services to a diverse clientele comprising both domestic and international organizations across various industries. With a strong team of over 6000 professionals led by more than 250 Partners & Directors operating in 11 cities across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi-Gurugram, and Pune, we pride ourselves on our client-centric and knowledge-driven work culture. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP and being proficient in understanding the variances between Indian GAAP and Ind AS. - Applying relevant accounting standards effectively, independently managing Ind AS engagements, and conducting research on complex technical accounting matters. - Staying updated on applicable laws, regulations, and new pronouncements related to Ind AS. - Monitoring engagement budgets with the guidance of the Engagement Manager. - Ensuring that your work is reviewed by the Partner directly under the supervision of the Engagement Manager. - Taking full responsibility for documentation and providing guidance to junior team members. - Assisting in the preparation of proposals for acquiring new mandates. - Being open to domestic and international travel as required. To qualify for this role, you should: - Hold a Qualified CA designation. - Possess 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
