Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for planning and executing regional, global, internal, and customer-oriented projects in the lab. Your main focus will be to schedule lab application activities, organize work efficiently to meet study requirements, and manage all technical activities such as customer projects and application projects. Additionally, you will drive the activities of the Application laboratory to complete assigned regional/global customer projects within stipulated timelines to enhance the lab's output. Your role will also involve supporting sales and technical services team to build a strong new business development pipeline and achieve growth and profitability targets aligned with the ENP strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Propose and coordinate application projects for products to develop data for customer solutions in collaboration with regional and global technical service and business development teams - Work on product applications in the formulation development of various dosage forms like tablets, oral liquids, oral powders, and capsules for customer projects - Design and conduct experiments to develop new formulations utilizing BASF's excipients, including advanced technologies such as hot melt extrusion and spray drying - Optimize existing formulations by assessing the functionality and effectiveness of excipients in enhancing product performance and stability - Conduct pre-formulation studies and stability testing of developed formulations - Perform analytical characterization of formulations and excipients using techniques like HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, Dissolution testing, and Rheometer - Develop strong customer relationships to ensure access to growth opportunities and provide timely support on product application matters - Prepare detailed reports and presentations on experimental findings, formulation development, and analytical results - Participate in projects for existing and new product launches, product development teams, and brand awareness initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical services, sales, regulatory affairs, quality, and marketing to support product development and launch activities - Provide training and guidance to laboratory interns and technicians as needed - Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the laboratory environment Qualifications Required: - Minimum master's degree in pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), PhD preferred - Over 5 years of formulation experience in the pharmaceutical and excipient industry - Experience in developing oral solid dosage forms, topical, and parenteral formulations - Knowledge of technology transfer activities, scale-up, and commercialization of formulations - Familiarity with good documentation practices, handling technical matters, and pharmaceutical quality standards (GMP) - Strong R&D knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry and high-level presentation skills,
