Assistant Manager Accounts

Job Description: You will be responsible for reconciling bank and vendor statements and assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This includes preparing journal entries, maintaining accurate accounting records, analyzing financial data, and identifying trends. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitor actual results against budget, and identify variances. It is important to maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and standards. Administrative support to the Accounting Manager will also be part of your responsibilities, including maintaining and organizing accounting records and files. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in an accounting role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
