Assistant Manager, Accounting

The accounting Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day and month-end accounting tasks, assisting with financial audit preparations, establishing accounting policies, best practices, and procedures. You will play a crucial role in driving process automation initiatives. Collaborating closely with accounting operations, tax, and other key business partners, you will report to the Manager of Controllership. Your responsibilities will include assisting with month-end closing, reconciling and entering journal entries for complex accounting areas, reviewing staff workpapers, enhancing workpapers for efficiency and accuracy, conducting analytic procedures to explain account fluctuations, and contributing to the continuous evaluation of the company's operations. You will also be involved in developing the team's understanding of GAAP accounting, ensuring adherence to deadlines, creating validation procedures for financial statements, supporting internal and external audits, implementing accounting policies and procedures, documenting accounting analyses, and assisting with special ad hoc projects under the guidance of the Accounting Manager. Successful candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of public accounting experience. You should have the ability to expand your financial knowledge and skills effectively, review, interpret, and explain financial data, demonstrate strong general accounting skills, and have a thorough understanding of US GAAP and proposed new accounting standards. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, adaptability to a high-growth work environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a CPA certification are preferred. Experience with NetSuite ERP system, Google Suite, and working in a global environment will be an advantage for this role.,
