Assistant Maintenance Manager (Restaurants)

As a Restaurant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of restaurant equipment and systems. Your key duties will include overseeing maintenance and repair activities, such as preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and facility renovations. You will also be supervising the condition of equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades as necessary. Managing the maintenance budget in accordance with safety and legal regulations will be a crucial aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff, as well as creating reports on budgets, safety inspections, and production statistics. Ensuring that health and safety policies are adhered to, developing and maintaining quality standards, and fostering effective communication among departments will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and be adept at collaborating with diverse groups of people. The ability to maintain composure and focus under pressure, as well as anticipate and overcome obstacles, will be essential for success.
