Job Description

A multi-specialist technician in a restaurant typically handles a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility upkeep. They ensure smooth operations, address technical issues promptly, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Specific Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, and other facility equipment. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing problems with plumbing, electrical wiring, and other systems. Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity. Coordination: Collaborating with other technicians and staff members to ensure smooth operations. Safety: Ensuring a safe working environment and addressing potential hazards. Documentation: Maintaining records of repairs and maintenance activities. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication: Effective communication with staff and management. Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy objects.
