Assistant Lecturer

As an Assistant Lecturer at TEACH - Training and Educational Centre for Hearing Impaired in Pune, you will play a vital role in the academic and skill-based development of deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the commerce stream. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and delivering instructional material using bilingual methodology, engaging in curriculum development, and facilitating personality development sessions to ensure students" mental and psychological growth. To excel in this role, you should possess a mastery of Economics, along with experience in teaching and curriculum development. Proficiency in sign language and English communication is preferred, and the ability to adapt and learn Indian Sign Language (ISL) is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effectively supporting skill-based and career-ready training, as well as fostering positive behavioral attitudes and personality development among students. Key Responsibilities & Duties: - Develop and implement engaging Commerce subjects content. - Create lesson plans that promote active participation and critical thinking. - Deliver subject content using diverse teaching methods. - Use assessment tools to measure student progress and provide timely feedback. - Cultivate a positive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. - Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences. - Maintain accurate records of academic performance and attendance. - Generate reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs.
