Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Department:

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

Manage end-to-end recruitment process for staff and workers at the plant level.
Coordinate with staffing agencies and internal teams to fulfill manpower requirements.
Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new joiners.

2. Statutory Compliance & HR Operations:

Ensure compliance with all labor laws including PF, ESIC, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with government and statutory bodies as needed.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

3. Time Office & Payroll Support:

Oversee attendance, leave management, and coordination with payroll team.
Supervise Time Office staff for smooth functioning.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement:

Handle grievances of workmen and staff at the plant level and take appropriate action.
Organize engagement activities, welfare programs, and support a positive work culture.
Coordinate disciplinary actions, warning notices, and ensure policy adherence.

5. Training & Development:

Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for workers and staff.
Maintain training MIS and records.

6. Performance Management:

Assist in the execution of performance appraisal cycles.
Support managers in setting goals and monitoring progress.

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Coordinate basic HSE-related awareness, training, and welfare initiatives in coordination with EHS team.
