Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare quantity estimates for budgeting and cost planning at various project stages.
  • Develop initial concept budgets, detailed budgets, and Cost-to-Complete (CTC) budgets.
  • Prepare and maintain Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for multiple work packages.
  • Create and manage WBS structures in SAP, upload budgets, attach BOQs and quantities, and ensure effective budget monitoring.
  • Generate monthly cash flows and Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure timely release of tenders within the approved budget.
  • Calculate and validate design wastage within allowable limits.
  • Propose Value Engineering options to optimize project costs.
  • Conduct rate analysis for cost estimates and prepare comparative assessments for procurement.
  • Coordinate with site teams for material reconciliation and perform proof checks on site data.
  • Develop benchmarking costs for projects and analyze quantity and cost drivers.
