Kar Parivartan LLP is an Integrated Solutions Provider that helps producers, importers, and brand owners (PIBOs) fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations. We specialize in end-to-end compliance, waste collection, channelization, and recycling solutions aligned with CPCB/SPCB regulations, contributing to India's mission of a circular and sustainable economy.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Business Development will be responsible for driving client acquisition, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Kar Parivartan's footprint in the EPR ecosystem. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate compliance needs into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients (producers, importers, and brand owners) for EPR compliance services.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with clients and channel partners.
  • Conduct business presentations, proposals, and negotiations with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the operations and compliance teams to design tailored EPR solutions.
  • Achieve revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Support in branding, marketing, and outreach activities related to Kar Parivartan's services.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business updates for management.
  • Represent the organization in industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework across Plastic, e-waste, battery and Tyre waste.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (CPCB/SPCB guidelines).
  • Experience in working with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), recyclers, and PROs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, client acquisition and close deals in sustainability/compliance sectors.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, MoUs, and EPR compliance strategies.
  • Willingness to travel PAN India to drive business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with an analytical and target-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 36 years of experience in

    business development, preferably in PRO, recycling, sustainability, or compliance sectors

    .
  • Prior exposure to government liaising, client pitching, and contract negotiations will be an advantage.
