Assistant Engineering Manager

You should possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or relevant discipline) along with at least 3 years of experience in a hospitality/industrial engineering role, with hotel pre-opening experience considered a significant advantage. A strong understanding of engineering systems and equipment in a hotel environment is essential, coupled with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Your proactive and hands-on approach should be complemented by a keen eye for detail and safety, enabling you to effectively multitask and deliver results under tight timelines. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing and supporting engineering operations such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, STP/WTP, fire safety, and BMS systems. You will be involved in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, as well as leading and training a team of technicians and engineers to uphold high standards of maintenance and safety. Collaboration with consultants, vendors, and contractors will be crucial to ensuring the timely completion of MEP setups and handovers. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting hotel operations post-opening by minimizing downtime and offering timely technical support.
