Job Description

Role Overview: You will play a key role in the Current and Contract Engineering team, guiding the team in detailed design and Contract engineering of MV/LV Products. Your responsibilities will include identifying development needs, coordinating with project managers for contracts timeline and budget, and utilizing your professional expertise in all aspects of MV/LV Switchgear, manufacturing processes, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a contract execution plan and guide the team in monitoring and executing activities within specified timelines. Coordinate with project managers and sales teams to maintain timelines and manage risks. - Ensure the design team follows processes developed by Lucy engineering team. Prepare and check drawings, bill of material as per Lucy PLM and CAD system guidelines. Track design errors and strive for first-time right by suggesting improvements. - Monitor costs while reviewing customized solutions. Guide the team to explore and evaluate alternate solutions and manufacturing processes to achieve optimum results. - Plan and supervise prototype building to adhere to internal/external testing schedules. Coordinate and witness internal/external testing as needed, both in India and abroad. - Review schematics and wiring, and release in the system. Track errors and plan for their reduction. - Prepare and maintain required data for product configuration for contract work and customization. Validate logic and test the functionality of Configurator, and provide training to the Sales team. - Complete technical reviews within the standard timeline in the system. Maintain all contract/technical review files related to contract/technical review information for the allocated contract/technical review. - Provide information for Management Reports on a monthly basis. - Mentor and assist the team in maintaining the competencies needed for present and future projects. Identify skill gaps and collaborate with management to address them. Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical with MV/LV switchgear background. - Minimum Experience: 9 to 12 years of experience. Additional Company Details: The position is vital for planning, monitoring, and executing all allocated contracts and related activities defined through configurator/work scope. As a key team member, you are expected to achieve, improve, and optimize activities as per schedule, costs, and quality standards. Coordination of internal and external communication, design reviews, and use of configurator tools to enhance outcomes and efficiency are also part of your responsibilities. Supporting team improvement in skills and competencies is crucial.
