Assistant Director (Career Preparation)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and executing Career Preparatory Programmes (CPP) at Ashoka University's Career Development Office. Your role will also involve engaging with students through structured interactions, career counseling, and coordinating with various student committees. Key Responsibilities: - Design and lead the career track of Ashoka's Career Prep Program, tailored to diverse majors and student interests - Ascertaining CPP requirements based on industry feedback, market trends, and students" aspirations - Integrate preparatory programs for placements, internships, and higher education - Plan and execute placement prep interventions across various sectors - Engage with Ashoka alumni for specific CPP sessions - Manage external vendors for CPP, if required - Create and update CPP presentations for management and stakeholders - Facilitate structured interactions and career counseling sessions with students - Support career buddy systems for final-year and pre-final-year students Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree, with a preference for a Liberal Arts qualification - 8-12 years of work experience in training, placement, internships, higher education, and career development - Experience in managing diverse learning and development programs - Ability to translate Liberal Arts education into career language - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Analytical mindset to track career prep engagement and student needs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Please Note: Social Media experience will be considered an added advantage.,
