Assistant Department Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership

    : Lead the formulation and execution of long-term strategic plans that align with our U.S. Corporate Financial Services vision. You will collaborate with U.S. Finance Managers to influence broader strategies based on local knowledge and experience, driving innovation and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Team Management

    : Lead, plan, organize, and coordinate the activities of the

    Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Billing

    teams. You will work with Section Managers and team leads to provide guidance, training, and performance feedback, and you'll mentor them to enhance their skills and strategic thinking.
  • Operational Excellence

    : Monitor key performance indicators (

    KPIs

    ) to track progress and drive continuous improvement. You'll present performance reports to management, streamline processes, and improve service delivery in collaboration with U.S. and local finance leaders.
  • Collaboration & Communication

    : Act as a key representative for your teams in meetings and presentations, advocating for their goals and achievements. You must have a proven track record of driving successful transformation and the courage to challenge when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience

    : A minimum of

    12 years of experience

    in a supervisory or management role, with prior experience in a shared services environment preferred.
  • Education

    :

    Chartered Accountant (CA)

    ,

    CPA

    , or

    MBA

    from a prime institution is strongly preferred.
