Job Description

Position:

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Key Roles/Deliverables:

Cost Analysis & Control:
Assist in analyzing material, labor, and overhead costs, identify cost variances, and suggest cost-saving measures.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support the annual budget process by providing cost data and helping update budget projections based on business changes.
Reporting & MIS:
Prepare regular MIS reports, cost performance reports, and dashboards for management review.
Process Support:
Assist in maintaining pricing tools, models, and systems to improve cost and pricing workflows.
Inventory Management:
Support inventory costing and valuation, monitor inventory levels, and ensure accurate reporting.
Pricing Support:
Assist in pricing simulations, track market trends, and provide cost insights to support sales and customer negotiations.

Secondary Roles/Deliverables:

Collaboration:
Work closely with finance, procurement, and production teams to align costing practices with business objectives.
Team Support:
Guide and mentor junior cost analysts or trainees in cost accounting practices as required.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Technical / Functional Knowledge:

Analytical skills
Cost accounting principles
SAP (HANA) exposure preferred

Qualifications:

ICWA/CMA or CA Inter

Behavioral Skills:

Collaboration
Strong organizational and coordination skills

Experience:

3 6 Yrs. in Auto Manufacturing Industry
Exposure to Corporate Accounts & Finance functions
