Assistant Consultant - Landscape Architecture

As a Landscape Architect at WSP, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization and design of various landscape architecture projects, ranging from parks and urban plazas to green roofs and public gardens. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough site analyses and assessments, collaborating with senior architects and landscape designers, and preparing detailed landscape design documents with a keen focus on sustainability and environmental considerations. You will be expected to research and recommend appropriate plant species and materials while staying informed about industry trends and best practices in landscape architecture. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and documentation, ensuring design fidelity by coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other consultants during project implementation. To excel in this role, you should hold a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and possess a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 years of field experience. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS applications is essential, with preference given to candidates with Revit experience. A strong understanding of landscape ecology, plant materials, and sustainable design principles is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team setting. In addition to technical skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, you should have a portfolio showcasing your design work and creative approaches to landscape architecture.
